Patient reviews for Dr. Yixiu Zheng
Dr. Zheng is such a caring, thoughtful physician who listens closely to what your health objectives are and aligns treatment accordingly. Highly recommend!
Dont have high expectations about this doctor's office. This is a typical Chinatown office where Chinese aunties yell back in forth regardless of if you speak the language. They are quick, efficient, but they wont spoil you with attentive bedside manner. Dr. Zheng initially seemed aloof. I went as a first time patient for a basic check-up. She too is efficient with her exam. She isn't overly chatty, but I am confident if you had a real concern, she would address it in full. I will need to see how the follow-up goes to confirm if i would recommend.
The doctor and staff were all helpful and engaged. I really appreciated that office hours are so flexible. The office was clean and convenient.
Professional as always!
She was very approachable and makes you feel very comfortable. I was looking for a new primary care doctor and I found her! The wait time was about 20min but I think that is because I was checking in as a new patient so there was some paperwork to fill out. I got my blood work/urine done right after I met Dr. Zheng as well so I didn't need to make another appt for that which was so convenient. I'm happy!
Very friendly and considerate.
Dr. Zheng is awesome
the front desk needs to needs to be organize with it comes to checking in people.
The wait time was ridiculous. Why make an appointment if they can’t see you within 15 minutes of your appointment time? Everyone is busy which is why we make appointments. Dr. Zheng was nice and friendly, but I think she wasn’t very thorough.
Very kind, clear and easy to talk to. I can tell she cares about her patients.
Really cool and warm! I really liked her!
Yixiu Zheng MD is professional, and personable. I highly recommend.
I’ve been seeing dr Zheng for a few years now, and I would highly recommend her. She really listens (something that should not be taken for granted in a doctor) and is incredibly smart and thorough. I’ve felt really well taken care of since I started seeing her!
I think she is not very professional. Dressed in short skirt, no white coat; Answer questions use phased like “I personally use it, so it is proper for you” ; inappropriate laugh during the question and answer part. Just feel not in a clinic. Will not visit or recommended it to other people.
Dr Zheng was very approachable and had great demeanor and bedside manner, which is rare!
Very knowledgeable and great at extracting health details from patients to lead them in the right direction.
Always the best!
I’ve been seeing Dr Zheng for a few years now and think she’s the best!
Super friendly, comfortable and helpful! Would recommend.
Dr. Zheng was very friendly and asked many questions I was comfortable answering. Never felt uncomfortable in her presence and she was extremely nice the whole visit.
I found Dr. Zheng after a lengthy and frustrating online search for a trustworthy and competent PCP. She listened carefully and was efficient without sacrificing her kind bedside manner. If you are looking for someone to give wholistic care and listen to your health goals as well as your issues, give her a try. I am not a Chinese speaker and was unsure how to feel about the small facility along with the limited English of the medical assistants and staff but it turned out to not be a concern; I will be back.
Extremely uncomfortable when you go into the office to find your doctor in high heels and short skirt and about to take a Pap smear from your bottoms. Never went back.
Very nice and professional doctor, the staff were nice and I was very comfortable during my visit.
Great doctor with listening time of your concerns to prescribe the best solution. Highly recommended!
Dr Zheng really cares about her patients and listens to every thing you have to say. She also asked before running any tests on me, they were non invasive and a blood test but it was still nice that she asked. When it comes to medication refills she is always on top of it even when she is not in the office, you can email her. I would definitely go to Dr Zheng if you are looking for a new doctor.
Simply amazing I went into the office full of anxiety and fear and left with a peace and thankful
Great as usual....
She was so helpful and understanding. I am happy to be her new client, and have already set an apt to go back to see her.
Dr. Zheng was really great. She addressed my concerns on many different areas and gave me a great jumping off point to kickstart my health plans. She is thorough and is actually nice when you speak with her, unlike other doctors who see you for a second and say heres a prescription for something. She took the time to ask questions and give me options for getting on track.
Always pleasant, always quick, alway thorough. She's very knowledgeable, and very attentive.
Waited for about 15 minutes then saw the doctor and everything ran smoothly.
Had an amazing visit and felt like I was 100% in the right hands!
Dr.Zheng was excellent ,she listens to all my concerns . Office was very clean , and wait time was less than 5 minutes from my scheduled time...… I highly recommend Dr. Zheng ….five stars all the way...….
Thorough and to the point- very pleased!
Wow. What a horrible experience. I came here to get some follow-up blood work done in order to get to the bottom of abnormal results. The appointment was rushed. I was the last appointment of the day and I truly felt like I was herded in and out. I was also asked to disperse my own urine in the test tubes which I had never done before. The bathroom in which this was done was extremely unsanitary and there wasn't even any soap. The last bit of it had been watered down. This was on a Thursday evening, I was told I would receive my results by Monday. Monday came and went and I received nothing. I figured it might have something to do with the holiday. Tuesday came and went, still nothing. Finally, I reach out to her via text (her preferred method of communication) regarding the delay in my results. She tells me that my platelet levels were low and that I would "most likely need to come in again". She texts me vague results along with pictures of my results, which I wouldn't be able to understand as I am not a doctor. I felt really uncared for and decided not to follow-up treatment with this woman. She's careless and seems to be more concerned with gaining a social media following than really making a positive impact on her patients health.
Not a bad wait time , incredibly efficient and straightforward staff and also a kind and proper bedside manner.
It was to the point. In and out and Dr. Zheng was really friendly.
This was my first and last time seeing this doctor. I had a horrible migraine and excruciating abdominal pain, chills, etc. After a 45 minute wait with no one else in the office, I was sent to get my vitals checked. Afterwards, I was asked to wait in a room for the doctor. It was so loud in the back, music was on loudly and the front desk people were chatting loudly. I had to close the door because I was in so much pain. After about 30 minutes, the doctor came in to see me. She did not introduce herself and was very unprofessional. While examining me, she did not take my temperature (I took it at home and had a fever of 101) and she used her cellphone to look at my throat. She did not know what was wrong and prescribed tyenol, pepto and pepcid. If I wanted over the counter medication and an unclear diagnosis, I could've saved a trip to the doctors. I will not be coming back.
I’ve been going to Dr. Zheng for years and for me, she’s just the right amount of attentiveness. She genuinely seems concerned about me and always happy to answer my questions.
Seen almost right away, friendly receptionist who helped with some registration issues. Was in and out in 30 min.
Best all time primary doctor. Professional and smart. Great bedside manners
There are better places to go in NYC.
Friendly and efficient! Nice lady.
Rude doctor. Little english spoken by staff.
I went to get my blood tested and was emailed the results within a few days, but no phone call from the doctor followed. There were multiple irregularities in my testing which was extremely alarming to see. The doctor did not want to speak on the phone and thought it best to come in and speak about the irregularities in person, but there were no available appointments within the week. When I finally got her on the phone she said everything was fine. It felt like she didn’t want to have to deal with me and just overlooked my tests.
Amazing, straightforward, and kindhearted. I’ve always had great experiences with Dr. Zheng.
This was the first time I have actually been to a doctor's office that did not make me wait a while after my appointment time. I was literally called 8 minutes after I've arrived. Now let me say this, I found Yixiu Zheng on here and I had a feeling that I may have found MY doctor, well, I DID! She is very knowledgeable about many many different things and I just felt really at ease talking to her. She gave me some AWESOME recommendations as far as my weight and skin care is concerned. I love her so far! I definitely recommend going.
She was very informative about my allergy and asthma issues. Her and her staff were very friendly and professional. Highly recommend her!
