I live in another borough,This was the only specialist in his field available.Other Doctors had openings 3-4 months later, Dr.Deribe is a blessing to the community he serves.
He was very pleasant
It was my first visit and so I don't have too much to say as a follow-up will occur in two weeks with (hopefully) some answers. I can say that the office staff is terrific, every single one of them; kind, considerate and funny! My bloods and EKG were done within ten minutes of entering the examination room and the entire first visit, with multiple tests including an echocardiogram, was completed in two hours. I will say that two hours included 40 minutes of wait time, but that didn't bother me especially since the remaining time was used so efficiently. I met with the doctor twice and he was straighforward, as well as very kind and attentive, if a little rushed. I did not, however, feel slighted in any way. My guess is that the follow-up will be a little different as I hope to receive results. This office may not be it for everybody -- which is why I didn't give it five stars yet -- but thus far, it sure is it for me.
