Really efficient and thorough staff. Doc and nurses were lovely. The actual visit was quick but they were very busy so there was some wait time.

Dr. Peters was quick & efficient! She knew I needed antibiotics right away and asked all the right questions. Lovely staff - great office if you have a cold and need to be seen right away.
She was okay, very friendly but I felt rushed. Maybe it was due to it just being a normal screening but there was no time to really get comfortable with her. Did answer my questions though.
Overall the office was great. Easy check-in, nice location. I’d go back again for sure. The nurse was very lovely and professional. The Dr was fine. Some minor points. The bathroom for doing a urine sample is thru the waiting room and down the hall. I had to walk thru the waiting room where the other patents are while carrying my own pee. It was sort of awkward. Also Inessa was out so I had to see the male MD even tho I’d bothered to filter by gender. (I’m paranoid that male providers get around the gender screening by putting the name of the female provider on their time slots or some other scheme like this.) also the building sign says like “eye and ear infirmary” is so it was a little confusing at first going in to see a GP.
Fabulous physician who understands patient needs and provides enough time for patient to talk about the medical problems. In addition, her approach to discussing treatment options is highly recommended and a trait of a highly skilled physician.
Susie is lovely, kind and professional, and I would recommend and return.... I just wish I didn't have to wait over 45mins each time I have been there, despite being told by front desk '10 minutes' - we are all busy and having to book appointments....
Dr. Gadhvi is extremely personable. I hate going to the doctor but she put me at ease the entire appointment. She listened to every concern without judgement and was thorough. I will definitely be going back to Dr. Gadhvi in the future.
Anthony is amazing - very efficient and thorough and makes you feel at ease.
This was my first visit and I had to wait an hour due to insurance processing stuff, but from what it looked like subsequent visits will have little to no wait time from the scheduled appointment time. Dr. Rahman was knowledgeable, friendly, thorough, and does the most comprehensive physical I've ever seen (usual vitals check along with bloodwork for cholesterol, diabetes, vitamin D and B12, and STD testing). I'm very happy with my visit and if I move would still he willing to come here despite a longer commute.
Clean, welcoming, organized space. Staff are very professional and personable. Ekaterine ('Kate') is also quite the personality, super knowledgeable and among the warmest bedside manner ever experienced. She's direct and concise and confident while helping you. I am considering this location as my primary care.
Great office and staff! Would recommend to anyone. The wait time was long for this visit but it might have been because it was a Friday. But I will for sure keep seeing him. Very professional and made sure all my questions were answered.
Family Doctors in NYC
Family doctors are primary care physicians that cater to the medical needs of every member of a family. This field of medicine does not limit its practice to specific organs or diseases but aims to provide overall care to all patients, regardless of their gender or age. According to the American Academy of Family Physicians, “family physicians are distributed more proportionally to the U.S. population than any other physician specialty.” Family physicians specialize in managing common complaints and diagnosing underlying diseases in patients. Being primary care providers, family doctors have a constant, long-term relationship with their patients.
Family physicians are medical doctors, and they go through medical school to obtain Doctor of Medicine (MD) degrees. To specialize in family medicine, doctors are required to complete a residency program. Typically, the duration of a residency in family medicine is three years. After the residency, residents are eligible to take a board-certification exam by the American Board of Family Medicine.

Areas of care
Family doctors aim at providing comprehensive care to one and all. The areas of focus include:
- Chronic conditions such as asthma and diabetes
- Medical evaluations and routine tests like X-rays and general checkups
- General eye care
- General care for women
Choosing between family physicians and pediatricians
While both family doctors and pediatricians are qualified to treat children, certain factors may play a key role in determining which one you should pick:
- Family doctors can treat every member of the family, saving you multiple trips to doctors’ offices. Family doctors complete their residencies in several medical fields, including pediatrics. This makes them qualified to care for patients of all gender and age.
- Pediatricians are also primary care doctors who specialize in managing the overall well-being of children. They complete three years of a pediatric residency. As their main focus is children’s health, they can be better equipped to deal with kids. The only drawback could be that the patient would have to change their healthcare provider by the age of 18.
Other factors that could affect your decision include convenient location, finding doctors that accept your insurance and choosing a doctor based on availability.
