Dr Fyffe was very thorough and articulated her diagnosis to me in language I understood and with great bedside manner.. Both her and the nurse were detailed in their assessment.. Overall the entire process was swift and great and the staff amazing..
She is amazing! Always makes you feel comfortable and she is a good listener to how you are feeling.
Was good. Could have recommended which tests to get done a little better. But overall good
I’m a very spiritual person and believe that paths are established because they are meant to be. Meeting Dr. Nay Htyte was a blessing that reinforced the notion that I was in the right office with the right medical professional. Dr. Htyte possess the qualities of kindness, intelligence in his field and a calming demeanor. I will definitely recommend Dr. Htyte to my family and friends.
Dr. Eustace was great! He made my doctor’s visit actually enjoyable! I came 30 minutes early to my appointment and I did have to wait another 30 min after my scheduled appointment time, but I will continue seeing Dr. Eustace for any other future medical concerns. He is just that awesome of a person.
Wait was longer than estimated however Dr. Pollak's bedsite manner was great. Staff was courteous and attentive. Feels like home.
the doctor was good, so was the staff, but the office is not well managed with lots going on, the nurse was running around, stayed with one patient, then to the other. i am not sure i will come back again.
Doctor is ok,but the office staff is awful!! Waiting time more than 2 h,and nobody cares about your time management!! Btw,the first time there everything was perfect, but after my perfect review everything was spoiled
Dr Prahlad Gadhavi is a very knowledgeable and dedicated doctor. I went to see him for an illness that was potentially urgent. After our appt he made himself available on the phone to clearly provide the next steps. I ended going to ER on Saturday and Dr. Gadhavi made himself available to correspond to the staff members of the hospital. Could not recommend more.
Great doctor! Very friendly and listens very well. Only drawback is the waitime and the office is always crowded. But as it confirms she is a great doctor so that's why the waiting room is packed.
Family Doctors in NYC
Family doctors are primary care physicians that cater to the medical needs of every member of a family. This field of medicine does not limit its practice to specific organs or diseases but aims to provide overall care to all patients, regardless of their gender or age. According to the American Academy of Family Physicians, “family physicians are distributed more proportionally to the U.S. population than any other physician specialty.” Family physicians specialize in managing common complaints and diagnosing underlying diseases in patients. Being primary care providers, family doctors have a constant, long-term relationship with their patients.
Family physicians are medical doctors, and they go through medical school to obtain Doctor of Medicine (MD) degrees. To specialize in family medicine, doctors are required to complete a residency program. Typically, the duration of a residency in family medicine is three years. After the residency, residents are eligible to take a board-certification exam by the American Board of Family Medicine.

Areas of care
Family doctors aim at providing comprehensive care to one and all. The areas of focus include:
- Chronic conditions such as asthma and diabetes
- Medical evaluations and routine tests like X-rays and general checkups
- General eye care
- General care for women
Choosing between family physicians and pediatricians
While both family doctors and pediatricians are qualified to treat children, certain factors may play a key role in determining which one you should pick:
- Family doctors can treat every member of the family, saving you multiple trips to doctors’ offices. Family doctors complete their residencies in several medical fields, including pediatrics. This makes them qualified to care for patients of all gender and age.
- Pediatricians are also primary care doctors who specialize in managing the overall well-being of children. They complete three years of a pediatric residency. As their main focus is children’s health, they can be better equipped to deal with kids. The only drawback could be that the patient would have to change their healthcare provider by the age of 18.
Other factors that could affect your decision include convenient location, finding doctors that accept your insurance and choosing a doctor based on availability.
