I saw Dr Prust in the Beltsville location on Indian Creek Court. The facility is beautiful. Parking is ample & free, no elevators to deal with, and right off 95. Dr Prust and her staff were professional, friendly and efficient. I was in and out for a annual visit in less than 30 minutes. Dr Prust and I engaged in conversation and I had plenty of time to discuss how I was feeling and my concerns. At no time was I rushed. I would highly recommend Dr Prust. Thank you.
I have been to an OBGYN appointment in the past in Alexandria and the process was fairly quick. When I went into the OBGYN room there was a medical student who was fairly nice, but personally I think she needs more training on making sure that the tool used for the vaginal culture test needs to be place in more comfortably. It hurt a lot compared to the other office I went to.
Dr. Prikoupenko was efficient in taking my medical history and forthcoming in addressing all my questions and concerns. He was very thorough and took care to make me feel at ease during the exam. He has excellent bedside manner. My appointment was right on schedule and there was no wait time in the office. I would definitely recommend him.
What is an ob/gyn?
An Obstetrician-Gynecologist (OBGYN) is a doctor who specializes in everything related to women’s reproductive health, including pregnancy and childbirth. OBGYNs screen for certain diseases such as breast cancer and cervical cancer. They also diagnose and treat women’s reproductive health issues including sexually transmitted infections (STIs), menstrual issues, abnormal bleeding, polycystic ovarian syndrome, fertility, and more. Some OBGYNs specialize in maternal-fetal medicine, which means they treat and monitor pregnant women and their babies. They also perform deliveries and c-sections.
