Dr. Mann is a lovely obgyn, and does her job very well. While the front desk staff is friendly enough, the lack of follow-through with patients as to what they are coming into the office for ill affects the office's appointment schedule. I've never waited less than a half hour past my appointment time to be seen, and this most recent time was over an hour and a half. I overheard a nurse telling another patient that they were running behind because they had three IUD placement appointments, when they generally try not to have more than one, maybe two, in a full day. While I'm empathetic to the needs of other patients, to not have awareness of the context of someone's visit beforehand, and not having allotted the necessary time to see to those tasks without inconveniencing your other patients shows a lack of proper front desk knowledge on the part of the staff. I would rather have to book my appointment further in advance, but actually get seen at or near my appointment time, versus having to sit in a cold waiting room alone for an hour-plus. This delay also meant my pharmacy was closed by the time my prescription finally got filled by Dr. Mann.
