I don't think that the wait time is normally one hour. They took another lady that had the same first name as mine when I was called. I wish that they could have just explained to her that there was a mistake and have taken me then. I was in pain and nervous, so the long wait shot my blood pressure up. It is too bad that everything is so casual these days, because using Mr. or Mrs. with the last name could prevent some mix ups. But, the staff and doctor did sincerely apologize. And, when I was seen, Dr. Chisholm took away all my fears. It didn't hurt like I thought it would because he was so gentle. They move quickly, but you don't feel rushed because he is so caring, and I was glad that it went so fast. He listens and doesn't push stuff on you. I have never felt so comfortable with a doctor. The second mishap happened when I was given an order for radiology. When I got there, they said that the order wasn't filled out, so they couldn't make the appointment. When I called the office later that morning, I couldn't get through for a long time for some reason. But, when I finally, did she faxed the order right over to radiology and phoned me to let me know. Later, I had to phone again, and got through right away with an important question. She even called the doctor at the hospital and gave me the information that I needed for a related appointment the next day. Bottom line: Dr. Chisholm really left me feeling confident in him, and like the doctor, his staff is warm, accommodating and professional. The exam rooms and powder rooms are sanitary. I would feel good recommending Dr. Chisholm to anyone and was grateful for finding them.
