"Dr. Keller, Marsha the nurse, and Zoe the 3rd year medical student, were all awesome. Marsha took my vitals, didn't give me any grief about not wanting to be weighed, and then Dr. Keller came in and asked if a medical student could sit in on my check up. I didn't mind, especially because Dr.Keller said it was a female medical student. I doubt I would have felt as comfortable doing so if it were a male medical student though. The medical student, Zoe, came in to do the initial intake form. Asked me questions about my health and life history. She was very easy to talk, friendly and professional. I noted this was the first time I had been to an obgyn, spoke on my previous eating disorder and concern on whether it affected my reproductive health, discussed cultural differences (being Asian American, discussing lady health just isn't done that often and sex and healthy sexual relationships are a big no-no discussion). She went over the basics of the exam - breast check, stirrups, and cervic and pap smear device. Dr. Keller came in and we discussed a little more indepth on my intake form and she gave advice on best practices for breast care and sex health care/STD screenings and birth control and Plan B. Then she performed the exam and Zoe watched and also performed parts of it. The pap smear was eh in terms of comfort but that's hardly surprising. Everything was professional. Dr.Keller and Zoe are both very compassionate and well informed. = The wait time and the front office staff though... Look man, I get it. It's late in the day in the middle of the week, but the amount of 'tude I got was a little (lot) absurd. The wait was at least an hour. It was my first time there so I followed the directions in the front of the office which was the stand behind the umbrella sign and wait to get called over by one of the 3 attendants. The directions were confusing though because apparently I was supposed to sign in first with the electronic register? Just standing there took a while. Then I got to the front and filled out a waiver, asked a couple questions (got serious side eye for them - like, where is your policy that I am signing this waiver for?). Then because apparently I didn't get signed in properly? I had to go back up to the front and check in on that and the attendant asked "Why didn't you sign in on the register? Who did you talk to in the front desk?" and I was like *stare* The waiting room is very busy. I assume because they have a lot of doctors...At least I hope that's why :\"
