Dr. Yadao is currently a part of MedStar Orthopaedic Institute. Her practice specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of sports injuries but also includes general orthopedics. Her surgical expertise is reconstructive and arthroscopic (minimally-invasive) procedures of the shoulder, knee, elbow and hip. Dr. Yadao welcomes patients to her practice who are experiencing herniated disks, ligament sprains, and arthritis, among others. Dr. Yadao earned her medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia. She then completed her residency at the same university. Later, she completed her fellowship in sports medicine at the Mississippi Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center. Dr. Yadao has participated in a variety of research and publication opportunities, including Osteochondritis Dessicans of the Elbow and “Normal Clinical Parameters in Successful ACL Reconstruction,” among others. In her spare time, Dr. Yadao enjoys traveling, playing tennis and gold, art, and cooking.
