I am Board Certified In Pediatrics . I have been in private practice for 28 years, served as the Chairman of
the Department Of Pediatrics at Providence Hospital from 1988 to 1996. I practice general pediatrics, which
means I diagnose and treat most of the disease of children from birth to age 21 with referrall to specialist
when the need arise. many of the common lab test are performed in our office and the results are available immediately. This prevent the patients from having to travel to another location to have lab services
performed. As a mother of 3 children of my own I realize the difficulty of travel from place to place with
sick children. I try to make medical care to my patients as convenient as possible. The first hour of each morning
Monday through Friday is set aside for emergency walk in patients. No appointment is necessary. If your child
becomes sick during the night bring the child to the office in the morning between 7:30 and 8:30 am. Appointment
are seen starting at 9:45 am . If available I try to give the first dose of medication in the office to get treatment
started right away and the patient on the way to recovery. Routine check-ups including school, camp and sports
physical are scheduled as needed, usually the same day or within a few days. The same day if urgently needed .
I perform Hearing testing with the new OAE hearing screener for children as young as newborns is available. I
also use a state of the art Vision screener to pick up some eye diseases the standard vision screener may miss.
Office Hours are 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Thursday 7:30 am to 12 noon on Friday. Most insurances are accepted, Aetna, Carefirst Blue Cross, Blue Choice, Amerigroup, Americhoice United Health care, Teamsters,

After receiving his M.D. from the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore, he went on to complete his pediatric residency at The Children's National Medical Center in Washington D.C,, and served as Chief Resident the following year.
