Starting therapy is challenging but the process can lead to a fulfilling experience. Whether you are experiencing a crisis, or want to gain a deeper
understanding of how you operate, becoming involved in therapy can broaden your life by becoming aware of unconscious influences of the past and their connection to behaviors in the present.
When working with clients, I primarily use a psychodynamic approach. This means to me that we explore your narrative as well as the interactions that occur between us. Building the relationship is a process but a rewarding way to examine the architecture of your emotional mind.
Although I have advanced training in psychodynamic psychotherapy, I also have experience with cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectal behavioral therapy and Gestalt techniques as well. I understand each client has unique needs and able to customize treatment as appropriate.
