Dr. Modi has been in clinical practice since 2006. He completed his Internal Medicine training at St. Michael's Medical Center and Gastroenterology training at
St. Joseph's Hospital Regional Medical Center in Paterson, New Jersey. He is board certified in the field of gastroenterology and liver diseases.
Dr. Modi has extensive clinical experience in performing various gastrointestinal procedures. He has mastered his skills in procedures such as colonoscopy, gastroscopy, ERCP, spyglass cholangioscopy, feeding tube placement, and small bowel capsule endoscopy.
He has participated in clinical research and publications. He is actively involved in screening for colorectal and gastric cancers. His interest also includes chronic liver disease, celiac disease, inflammatory bowel disease, irritable bowel syndrome, as well as gastroesophageal reflux and post bariatric surgery management.
He is an Attending physician at JFK Medical Center in Edison New Jersey. His duties include teaching and enhancing the knowledge of medical students and residents in the field of gastroenterology. He is actively involved in community education through various seminars and workshops. Dr. Modi is also affiliated with Robert Wood Jonson University Hospital in Rahway and Raritan Bay Medical center in Perth Amboy, New Jersey.
