My private practice offers individually-tailored yet evidence-based psychotherapy as well as neuropsychological testing and consultation for children,
adolescents, adults, families, and couples. Clients receive insight, emotional growth, and support, as well as, concrete skill building and problem-solving. I believe self-regulation is a core human capacity that underlies a variety of experience. The capacity to adaptively self-regulate begins very early in life and is influenced by both genetic and environmental factors. Good news: self-regulation is a skill that can always be strengthened.
My approach is broadly based integrative-psychodynamic, combining approaches from behavior therapy, schema/rational-emotive therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and mindfulness-based techniques.
