Gregory Rizzolo

Practice Statement

Many people turn to counseling, or psychotherapy, for help with anxiety, depression, painful relationship patterns, or sometimes just the feeling that something is missing from life.

If you struggle with anxious or depressive feelings, or with frustrating relationship patterns, psychotherapy might be able to help you address the underlying issues and move forwards.

Greg Rizzolo trained in the counseling department at Northwestern University and in the psychoanalytic education program at the Chicago Institute for psychoanalysis. He teaches and supervises masters and doctoral students in social work at the Institute for Clinical Social Work.

He believes in working with each individual to tailor the process to address their specific concerns. Clients often report that psychotherapy has enabled them to work through internal problems in a lasting and meaningful way.
