Kian Makipour MD, MS is a board certified physician in internal medicine and gastroenterology. He treats all diseases of the digestive tract, pancreas and
liver. He has advanced training in therapeutic/interventional endoscopy. He completed both his internal medicine residency and gastroenterology fellowship at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia. He then completed an additional year of training in Advanced/Interventional Endoscopy at Temple University Hospital to gain expertise in all aspects of therapeutic endoscopy including ERCP, EUS, Deep Enteroscopy, Endoluminal stenting, Barrett's Ablation, EGD and Colonoscopy. He has also served as a faculty member at Temple University Hospital.
Dr. Makipour has presented numerous abstracts at national meetings and authored several manuscripts. Dr. Makipour works at Northern Virginia Endoscopy Center which is accredited by the AAAHC.
