Dr. Maggie Vaughan has worked with individuals and couples for over 10 years, specializing in the treatment of anxiety, depression and relationship concerns. Other common areas of treatment include low self-worth, life transitions (i.e., parenthood, career change, death of loved one, break-ups, retirement, etc.) and chronic health conditions. Dr. Vaughan's approach draws upon psychoanalytic, existential, humanistic and cognitive-behavioral theories and interventions. Therapy aims to provide immediate relief and to address long-standing, ineffectual patterns. Dr. Vaughan graduated from Duke University, the CA Graduate Institute of Professional Psych. and University of Southern California. She has been interviewed for several publications, mental health documentaries & tv/radio outlets. Manhattan Award Program named her Best Marriage Counselor of 2015.
