He is currently working on a program to introduce psychiatry residents to core concepts in basic wellness so that they are better able to care for themselves and their patients. Dr. Messeri has a flexible approach in his work with patients in his private practice and offers a wide range of options after completing a thorough psychiatric evaluation.
Dr. Messeri is particularly interested in psychological trauma and the various ways that traumatic events impact individuals, families and societies. He has explored how the intergenerational transmission of trauma tends to manifest and can help you to understand this complicated phenomenon and to eventually find relief.
