"This is my second review of BDJ, MD, FACC who has been my primary care physician for several years now. As far as I know my 2014 08 03 review had not been posted as of 2014 08 05 am It stated: Prioritized interview to cover most important information first. Correlated decision making with charts & test data. Now in this 2014 08 06 pm review I would update: All requests are reasonably & logically responded to & only as technical as you want. My OMRON home blood pressure unit was compared to the office machine. The nurse cleverly elevated my bp enough (without my foreknowledge) so it could be proved my home unit did in fact accurately record high bp & therefore the good home readings I was getting were valid. While still being professional, there is a 'family' feel between staff & patients, and between the patients & one another, but there is no pressure to conform, or perform, or fit in. It simply feels good to be in the office. This applies to the larger community of the hospital. There is a willingness of all to learn & respect one another no matter how different you are. For example, although the building & grounds are well maintained, getting the house cleaning, clean up crew to respond as quickly as the security officers was the result of my ADA service K9 vomiting up a lamb chop bone by the elevator, Tuesday. In prior visits Security educated me that a local dog license, as well as the vet certificate & prescribing letter from BDJ, MD, FACC for my ADA service K9, was required. My K9 is trained to run beside the bicycle with me & works to reduce my obesity problem. The board of directors of the hospital was also responsive years ago when a security officer was unreasonable & rude to me & my ADA service K9. Your medical experience can be as private & personal as you want @ this location. Or you can "be all you can be" regarding making the world a better place for medicine & people by interacting with the patients & staff you meet in the course of getting your medical tests, x-rays, lab work & second opinions done."
