Oh my goodness! This may sound "over the top," but every word is true and sincere. I have not in a very long time---if ever, found such a caring and knowledgeable professional physician. I had been looking for several months for someone who would listen and understand my concerns and make an honest effort to address them. Dr. Gilbert is such a person. From the moment I arrived at the office and was greeted----yes actually greeted with "we've been expecting you," (as opposed to past experiences, and one in particular at another medical office where I waited for more than 30 minutes before my presence was even "acknowledged," even though at the moment I had been in distress as a result of the condition for which I had gone to the doctor in the first place, and even after they "saw me," they gave me no eye contact, let alone a greeting, but simply asked for my insurance card and I.D., and summarily informed me of what my co-payment would be. Guess what their priority was? Not so with Dr. Gilbert) to his actual consultation and careful and caring attention to detail, my first visit will not be my last. Aside from the warm and caring greeting received, his listening ear and attention to detail, something else caught my eye. His offices are small and cozy, not crowded, but warm, inviting and impeccable. Crowning it all, he has framed plaques on the wall, one of which contains the Hippocratic Oath (I had not seen that anywhere else either and perhaps more doctors need to be reminded of this) and another sign that reads something to the effect: “We will see all patients in spite of their ability to pay. If you cannot afford the payment, you may request a payment plan and or discount." Is he for real? Truly reminiscent of the old-time family doctors who really had their patients' best interests "at heart." I could go on, but, do I need to? You simply must visit Dr. Gilbert. And don't allow his seeming youth fullness to fool you. He knows his stuff!
