First off, let me open that with my past experiences with doctors, I am incredibly wary of new doctors. I have a history of doctors not listening to my issues while just throwing a generic treatment plan at me and not listening to my concerns. Going in, I was definitely wary due to this and the low number of reviews. Happily my concern was quite misplaced.
The office staff is very kind and professional. The first impression was fantastic. The office itself is small and simple but it still felt very personal.
The doctor himself spent more time focused on and facing me than his computer as he talked WITH me, not AT me, about the specifics of what I was dealing with. He asked probing questions about my history, and waited as I explained them, giving room for me to elaborate instead of throwing words in my mouth. The visit felt very much about my issues which is foreign to me as every other doctor's visit felt like I was wasting the other doctors' times. Further, listening to my experiences and histories, and comments about them, he also made recommendations of things we could look into next. So not only did we address my issue, but he was paying attention to other issues to make possible future treatment suggestions. At no point did I feel like I was being talked down to, or not listened to. This will definitely be a doctor I continue to see.
