The office was equipped to do a nerve conduction test and other tests to rule out certain issues and the staff was very professional and helpful as to these tests. I didn’t feel rushed, I felt very comfortable, and I didn’t feel like anything was overlooked like I so often do. Her bedside manner was great and she took time to explain things to me. I have taken both my children to see MANY audiologists in NYC and there is no one who comes close to Michele DiStefano. She is terrific with patients, extremely professional, brilliant and exceptionally good at her job. She is innovative and always thinks outside the box to make things happen. Michele was able to create a unique hearing device for my son that did not exist. She contacted two manufacturers of two completely different parts of an FM device and was able to make them work together to come up with a hearing device that help my son both amplify his hearing and protect him from outside sound.
