Audrey Fernandez-Fraser, LMSW
My role as a therapist is to provide a lamp of perspective to help patients find their way on the path of healing, growth, and success. I offer a safe space, an interested ear, and gentle suggestions. I will consider you and your situation holistically, and help you to identify aspects of your life that need attention, be they physical, relational, mental, emotional, or spiritual. You are the expert in your life, and you have much wisdom and power within and around you — my job is to help you access it. I am a licensed master social worker trained in IFS therapy, Nonviolent Communication, and mediation. I have worked with patients of diverse cultural backgrounds as a therapist at the Jewish Board of Family and Children’s Services and previously as an interfaith hospital chaplain at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. I am comfortable with many different religious and nonreligious worldviews, and spirituality is something you may or may not choose to bring into therapy. I help patients with a wide range of challenges and diagnoses, from relationships, sexuality, and career concerns to depression, anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, and OCD. Outside of my therapy practice I work as a singer, composer, and writer. I received an MSW from Wurzweiler School of Social Work, an M.Div from Yale Divinity School, and a BA in Human Evolutionary Biology from Harvard College.
