Daniel Obarski, LPC

Englewood, CO

About Daniel Obarski

My goal is to help you identify and resolve those issues that are serving as barriers to you living the life of which you are capable. Like anything, life requires attention, fixes, and maintenance in order to realize its full potential. I will help you with this process and will assist you in becoming a skilled conductor of your existence. I can be of particular help with existential issues, finding meaning and purpose, self-actualization, problem identification, goal-setting, relationship issues, anxiety and its underlying meaning, and general sorting out of the Self. It is my intent that you will at some point no longer come in for therapy, save perhaps for occasional maintenance, because you will not need it. I have worked professionally in various arenas of mental health for nearly 20 years, including emergency, diagnostic and sub-acute settings. I've also worked in health insurance, sales, film, publishing, project management and service-oriented businesses, so I have a relatively broad context from which to draw for counseling.

I was nervous coming into therapy for the first time, but Dan immediately made me feel comfortable and welcome. He was very engaging and helped me understand what therapy will look like for me. I would highly recommend him for anyonenervous about coming to therapy for the first time, or for anyone needing help understanding what is going on with them.
