Nicole Carl, LPC
As a licensed professional counselor, I believe in creating a safe, non judgemental space to explore, feel, and discuss challenges and stressors. I provide personalized care based on each client's emotional and interpersonal concerns. My approach applies various techniques and interventions from a Psychodynamic perspective, Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction. I work with clients collaboratively to explore patterns and relationships of the past and present, while focusing and being aware of current problematic issues. This approach allows for an overall reduction in symptoms, personal growth and a balanced life today and in the future. I have experience working with young adults and adults in a community mental health setting, where I worked with a diverse population with various issues, including depression, anxiety disorders, PTSD, mood disorders, self-esteem and stress reduction. I earned a Master's of Arts in Clinical Psychology and Counseling at Roosevelt University and a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology at the State University of New York at Oswego.
