Patient reviews for Thomas Files, LPC
This was my first visit and I felt comfortable enough to schedule a second appointment. My plan is to continue to see him for counseling. He was friendly, a good listener, easy to build rapport with, and very down to earth. I am looking forward to my next visit and receiving his help.
I just needed someone to care about me, realize I wasn’t okay. I needed someone to hear me and understand. He was attentive and treated my situation with a sense of urgency. Thank you!
So kind and really listened
Dr Files has been nothing short of amazing. I look forward to my appointments with him, and truly find his feedback impacting my life. He deals with facts, and gives practical advice on how to shift your way of thinking. Highly recommend!
He was friendly, professional, and compassionate
Tom has been AMAZING! We have seen him for months now and he has taught us so much. From depression to marriage counseling, he truly has a gift that he is able to share with others. He teaches you the tools that you need in order to get through challenging times, and I would recommend him to anyone. Truly is a God send. He loves what he does, and it reflects in the way he has changed our lives.
Great first visit consultation! This being my first therapy visit ever; I did not feel judged or misheard. I’m looking forward to future visits.
He is very honest and easy to talk to. I would highly recommend and will definitely be seeing him again
He was very nice and open! I was a little anxious about going but after i came in and talked to him i was instantly eased!
I will definitely be seeing him on a weekly basis. He really makes me think about what is going on and why. He doesn't tell you what to do or ask "how does that make you feel" all the time. He listens and gives advice but also asks how do you think you could handle this. I would refer him to anyone. I look forward to our visits.
Very professional! Excellent session. Highly recommend.
Very personable. I'm relatively new to therapy and Thomas was great about helping me feel comfortable.
