Dr. Allee has a friendly and likable, interesting disposition. She also came across as non-judging, which made me feel comfortable. She was able to offer a few insights during my initial consultation which were helpful and will give me things to think about before I see her next. The waiting room is decorated with a clean, relaxed minimalist look, and dim lighting. There are several small books (the kind you can open to any page and get a quick snippet of info without investing a lot of time) on the coffee table. Her personal office is adorable. It is decorated in a calming color palette of beige and cream, yet with cool undertones. Overall, it was a very nice experience and I'm looking forward to my next visit.

He's the best psychiatrist around! He is always making sure your meds are working. Thank you Dr. Sandhu you always help me so much.
Excellent Doctor! I've had many in the past & I can tell a very good one, when I see them! He's highly intelligent, & even personable without invading ones privacy or personal boundaries. He's nice, pleasant, & has a positive type of friendly personality. His smile is comforting, too! He's very knowledgable about medications, dosages, & their side-effects. He doesn't over-prescribe, which is very important to me, since so many doctors these days in America, want to oversell drugs, due to pharmaceutical lobbying & incentives. I've now, had 2 appt's with him & I think "he's a keeper!" ;)
Very understanding and calming. Fairly conservative and honest about medication, which was refreshing. I felt like he really took the time to understand my concerns.
She is a very nice woman. Very skilled. But I thought her ideas a bit archaic an behind the times for me. I am progressive, feminist and independent. Her basic beliefs were out of sync with my own.
She was very caring, asked questions. What I truly liked she was not quick to write a prescription instead exploring other avenues before she does.
Dr Gundersen seems to be a caring doctor who is responsive to a patients needs and preferences. When interacting with previous physicians in this field I have been routinely encouraged to re-try medications that I have had a dangerous reaction too. Dr Gundersen took my concerns into consideration when choosing medications to try and due to that we were able to find a great balance of benefit/side-effect. That being said, this office, it's policies and behavior towards patients is at best unacceptable and at worst predatory. From a massive fee for being more than a few minutes late to check-in (required >10 minutes prior to appointment start time) for your appointment, to cancellations/rescheduling without apology or explanation (or notification I might add), to a rather large fee they charge you if you'd like have your prescriptions refilled - a full 5 second process. Bizarre, hostile, and unethical are all words I'd use to describe my interactions with the office staff. These people are actually the worst and I will not be returning to their office, despite my good experience with the Dr himself.
