I originally found Dr.Pinchinat through ZocDoc and hadn't read any of the reviews prior to seeing him. He is very knowledgeable and covers all bases to ensure that any diagnosis/treatment given is truly tackling the problem. He made sure I had proper testing for health conditions before prescribing any medications that may have harmful effects and was very compassionate and understanding. I have been seeing him for around a year and think he is wonderful for anyone seeking psychiatric care. The only complaint I may have is the wait time; even if I make the earliest possible appointment I usually wait for around 45minutes at the waiting room before being seen. This is both a blessing and curse as he does really care about his patients and takes his time with them instead of just having people in and out with little attention. Vernon Dorfman is attentive and takes the time to listen and get to know you better. He is lighthearted and makes you feel at ease. As a patient of his, he has made me feel comfortable and less nervous in his jovial approach as a psychiatrist, something I haven't found in other people of his profession. Dr. Fernandez is a pleasure, however his reception staff is rude and incredibly unhelpful - there have been several instances wherein I've asked them for assistance and I'm given a "not my problem" attitude. They lack the understanding and care that is crucial for a mental health clinic. …read more
