I have lots of medical problems and see a number of health professionals. Most are great but in my advancing age (57), I've become much more selective with my physician choice. In my opinion, I felt Dr. Gefter was extremely thoughtful and professional. I found her to be very thorough (this was my first visit, but still; some places don't bother taking time). This is really important for YOU, the patient. You want a physician like Dr. Gefter who asks the appropriate and correct questions according to your personal issues, concerns and needs. I believe she met these, and then some. I HAVE had other Podiatrists (male) in the past. I also have A LOT of serious foot and ankle problems, which Dr. Gefter, aftet reviewing my x-rays and history, started treatment. Dr. Greiff was very personable, professional and efficient. I don’t know if he keeps you talking to take ur mind off the pain, but that technique works so keep it up! Lol.
