When opening their first location in South Seaport in 2008, TDS partnered with Zocdoc to connect more patients with high-quality dermatologic care. This collaboration has been instrumental in their expansion, helping TDS grow into New York City\u2019s largest dermatology practice with over 50 locations \u2014 and recently extending into Delaware and Philadelphia.<\/span><\/p>\n

Rather than letting these slots go unfilled, TDS makes them available on Zocdoc, allowing more patients to receive timely care. In fact, TDS showcases its appointment availability on Zocdoc up to seven days in advance, making it easier for patients to find and book timely visits. This transparency and accessibility align with patient expectations for convenience and quick access to dermatology services, while simultaneously enhancing practice efficiency and revenue.<\/span><\/p>\n

In 2024, 80% of TDS appointments were within 3 days of booking. This far surpasses the national average wait time of 31.4 days to see a dermatology provider.*<\/span><\/p>\n

What\u2019s more, Zocdoc data shows that new patients who booked their first appointment with an APP had an average 2 percent higher rebooking rate than patients who booked their first appointment with a physician. Patients appreciate the high-quality care from APPs, and this strategy allows TDS to serve more patients while driving long-term value.<\/span><\/p>\n
