As millennials and Gen X patients grow into the next major market for healthcare providers, it\u2019s crucial for providers to meet them where they are.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When it comes to booking medical visits, this means offering online options, particularly for mobile devices. Smartphone ownership has <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pewresearch.org\/internet\/fact-sheet\/mobile\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">almost tripled<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> over the past decade; the average American spends <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.reviews.org\/mobile\/cell-phone-addiction\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">about four and a half hours<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> on their phone each day, checking that device 144 times while they\u2019re awake. Those numbers can sound concerning to healthcare professionals, but they speak to the ease and convenience we\u2019ve come to expect for managing our busy schedules.
