More than half of all bookers (52%) were millennials and Gen Z made up nearly a third of bookings (31%). Gen X accounted for 11% of bookings. Capturing these patients early in their care journey is crucial, especially as many enter life stages such as pregnancy that require more frequent visits.<\/span><\/p>\n

Speed to care is one of the most important factors when choosing an ob-gyn. Nationally, the average wait time to see an ob-gyn provider is 31.4 days*. That\u2019s why patients turn to Zocdoc to find ob-gyn providers who offer near-term availability. In fact, 7 out of 10 ob-gyn bookings on Zocdoc were made for appointments within 8 days.
