About Natalie Sands

Natalie Sands is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She was a nurse for 12 years in many settings before becoming a nurse practitioner. Natalie earned her bachelor's degree in nursing at Sacred Heart University in Connecticut, where she grew up, and her master's in Family Health Nursing at Simmons University in Boston. She has participated in medical mission trips to Jamaica and Bangladesh. Natalie is an eager helper and a good listener who strives to understand each patient's unique goals and perspectives. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, skiing, hiking with her dog, and chasing her wild toddlers.

Natalie was kind, a great listener and conscientious of her patients' needs. Some of the concerns that we saw Natalie for did not have quick answers...but she was patient and consistent and very mindful of asking the right questions to help us figure out the next steps - whether it was a referral to a new provider or additional labs or testing that could lead us to an answer. We firs saw Natalie when our initial provider was on maternity leave.
