Getting to know Anne Galbraith

As a therapist with a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Loyola Marymount University, I am passionate about assisting clients in cultivating their resilience, self-compassion, well-being, self-understanding, and ultimately creating a meaningful and fulfilling life.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I will listen and reflect on what I heard to ensure I understand the client. I will check in with the client throughout the therapy to ensure they feel they are making progress.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My work is grounded in client-centered and emotion-focused therapy. Together we will establish a focus for the session. I will listen, reflect, on what my client says verbally and non-verbally. I also at times use mindful practices, role- play, and art to support self expression. I try to create a welcoming and comfortable space free of judgement.
