I also have experience working with undocumented populations, assisting them in processing trauma, grief, and the many complexities that arise from leaving their country of origin. My experience includes working through the entire pandemic, during which I supported clients in managing grief, anxiety, and loss. I hold a Master's in Social Work from California State University, Long Beach. As a mental health therapist, I am dedicated and committed to working with my clients to improve their lives as they desire. I continue to draw on my extensive experience with clients facing depression, anxiety, trauma, and many other challenges to provide the best care for new clients. Seeing clients overcome their struggles and build deeper insights about themselves inspires my drive to work in mental health care. I enjoy witnessing the progress and resiliency of clients throughout their treatment.

What should a new client know about working with you?

During sessions, I use active listening skills to ensure that clients feel heard. I also continuously reflect back to clients to ensure they are being understood. If needed, I will ask for clarification to ensure I obtain accurate information given that it can play an important role in their treatment.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I am transparent with clients about the structure of treatment. I provide the space for clients to share their interests and information about themselves. I also provide clients with time to share delicate information to respect their need for comfort throughout their treatment.
