Provider's Employer Name - Foresight Mental Health
I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist currently working under the supervision of a licensed practitioner at Foresight Mental Health. I hold a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Counseling from the University of Phoenix.
I have always been interested in psychology and how emotions, feelings, and experiences shape our lives. My goal is to help children, individuals, couples, and families work through challenges that disrupt their lives.
Therapy Style: Curious, Humorous, Open-Minded
This is a therapeutic relationship, and the key to its success is open and honest communication. During our sessions, you will have the opportunity to discuss any issues causing stress, anxiety, depression, or other difficulties in your life. I use reflective listening and paraphrasing to ensure you feel heard and understood.
I want all my clients to know that our sessions are a safe space where you can be as open and honest as you wish. I build rapport by being supportive, encouraging, and transparent. I also encourage feedback about what you find helpful in therapy and what you would like to change, recognizing that everyone is different and not all techniques work for every individual.
What should a new client know about working with you?
This is a therapeutic relationship and the main factor in a successful therapeutic relationship is open and honest communication. During our sessions, you will have the opportunity to discuss any issue that is causing stress, anxiety, depression etc., in your life. I will utilize reflective listening and paraphrasing to verify that you are being heard and that I understand your thoughts and experiences.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
I would like all my clients to know that our sessions are a place where you can be as open and honest as you would like. I will build rapport with you by being supportive and encouraging, and as transparent as possible. I encourage feedback from my clients as to what they like about therapy and what they would like to change about therapy, as everyone is different and not all techniques work for each individual.
