Patient reviews for Dr. David Khasidy
Very professional. Wait was about 10 minutes, physical took less than an hour
Waited for 1:45min for a less than 10 min visit.
He is a wonderful doctor. He knows what he is doing, and has very nice, caring personality.
Very professional, nice to talk to whuch made us very comfortable.
They had me down for the wrong time despite multiple phone call confirmations (on their part). After 2 days, I am still waiting for my prescription to be refilled, which was the point of the visit.
I was told by the front desk lady that because I booked the same day through Zocdoc the appointment would not be considered. Due to the fact that I was feeling ill I requested they honor my appointment and after waiting for over two hours I was the last patient to be seen by the doctor. He was impatient and did not even take the time to truly examen me. He was ready to dismiss me as just having a “cold”. When he realized I was not satisfied with his diagnosis he finally decided to conduct a test and prescribed antibiotics for a throat infection I had.
One of the best doctors in Brooklyn and Queens. Highly recommend.
He’s a wonderful doctor. Knowledgeable, patient - with a good bedside manner.
Wonderful doctor - caring and knowledgeable
It turned out that the times listed on ZocDoc were not times the doctor was available for appointments. When I eventually had my appointment, it took 45 minutes to be called in from the waiting room after checking in (on time), and then another hour between getting my vitals and seeing the doctor. I came at 12:10 and didn't leave until 2:30 for a standard annual physical. There was only a curtain between me and another patient while the nurse was taking my vitals and asking me some questions.
He makes sure you address any concerns you have on your first visit to send you for further evaluation as needed. Other doctors schedule an appointment for each concern.
Came in for second degree burns, the doctor understood right away my concerns with infection. He made me feel comfortable and that my concerns were valid.
Very nice doctor, not in a rush
As an advocate for a patient I am writing this review on their behalf. This was one of the worst experiences I have ever encountered. Phone calls never returned, multiple requests for insulin prescription renewal ignored and no follow up even after the pharmacy called the office concerning said renewal, messages left for Dr Khasidy never returned, the receptionist hanging up on me, no follow through with repeated requests from myself and a new Primary Care Doctor for test results to be released. The unprofessional support staff is unbelievably incompetent. The multiple waiting rooms packed with patients waiting for hours to see a Doctor should be a red flag.
Very unprofessional! Worst PCP I`ve had! I`ve been to this office a couple of times and they had claimed that I only appeared once because they had lost my insurance information. Every time I appear I give them the benefit of the doubt and without fail I end up waiting at least a hour and a half after my appointment time. My last visit was the last straw. I had a scheduled appointment at 5:30 pm and didn't see Dr. David Khasidy Until 9:45pm. I waited there patiently and decided at 7:30 pm to finally go up to the desk and ask what was going on, being that the waiting room was practically empty. The lady at the desk tried to tell me he was done for the night and wasn't seeing anymore patients. I insisted that she work something out because I just needed a referral and it was important that I get it. By 9 pm I was the only person in the office to the point the custodial were sweeping around me and all the Nurses had went home for the day except 1. I finally meet him, he tries to make small talk and I cut straight to the point being that I wasted 4 hours of my time for a referral. Not only did he not place it in my hand after he was done writing it, he rudely threw/slid it on the table in my direction and said have a good night not even looking at me. It feels like if you aren`t Russian you`re pretty much destined to wait about a hour and a half at least and treated with little to no respect. As an African american, I hate playing that card but that`s what it is. I highly recommend you avoid.
Wait time is unacceptable. Highly disorganized
I had filled up the paperwork online prior to my visit so I wouldn't have to wait too long. The nurse called me 1 1/2 hr later and then I waited another 30mn. The doc is nice enough, I will give them one more chance.
Was not told there was going to be such a long wait. No explanation of procedure and everyone speaks Russian so that made me feel uncomfortable
Good doctor, caring and knowledgeable.
He was shockingly rude. He made no attempt to examine me. Instead he immediately attempted to refer me to a specialist. When I protested, he became aggressive and walked out. After being kept waiting for over an hour, my whole encounter with him lasted two minutes. What a waste of time.
Good doctor, but the office is way too crowded, lots of patients waiting between 4-7pm.
Dr. Khasidy is a very caring and thorough Doctor he dont rush your visit he takes his time to listen to you and gives you positive feedback along with positive treatment. I searched for a good Dr. To make primary for me and I'm glad i chose. Dr. Khasidy.
The doctor himself was fine. Waiting room however was quite intimidating. Everything was in loud Russian. From the magazines to the staff. Intimidating for a non Russian lol
Great doctor, very personable, you feel important as he doesn't rush you off. I was 30 minutes late , the visiting hours was over by 7 pm and I was the last patient. Dr. Khasidy still was with me until 8 pm and I was not rushed . Good doctor.
I was very impressed with the doctor and his thorough work up of me . I liked the fact that he took his time with me and didn't rush his way through it. The staff was also very attentive . Thank you .
I made my first appointment in advance with ZocDoc and still waited well over an hour to actually see the doctor. After spending a good deal of time in the waiting room, I spent even more time in a patient room where the lights kept going out (they were on a timer). I needed a followup appointment, and expressed my disappointment about how long I waited previously. They promised I wouldn't have to wait so long, but no such luck. I spent less time in the waiting room, but then spent over an hour in a patient room before the doctor actually came. Overall he seems like an OK doc, but no excuse for such unprofessional scheduling. Wait was clearly because of poor scheduling; sign in sheets so several patients with same appointment time for same doctor
It was my first time visit and had to wait more than an hour. The doctor is very nice and polite. Take his time with each patient.
I didn't wait long to see the doctor. The people that work there were very polite and professional. Today was my first time going to this doctor and everyone there made a great first impression.
The wait time was more than 2 hrs. I'm not exaggerating. I only waited because I really needed to see a doctor. The doctor is very nice, but he is not really thorough in asking you questions. I always disliked getting the "you're young, nothings wrong with you" treatment. I had a full bloodwork done, the gave me a xerox copy which was nice, but later went home and saw that one page was missing. Staff is very nice, but the nursing assistant totally does not know how to draw blood. My arm was bruised for two weeks after my visit.
Quick and efficient visit without feeling rushed. Was able to see the actual doctor on my first visit. Very knowledgeable, gave me referrals to doctors he knew personally, not just a standard list of doctors in my network within a ten mile radius.
He asked pertinent Questions and addressed all of my issues and he ordered the tests needed to properly monitor my health.
He was excellent and very nice and he's the type of doctor I needed for a long time
The wait is always pretty ridiculous, but he is a great doctor once you are in to see him.
He is very nice and a great Doctor.
It was very professional.
Very professional and right to the point. I will continue to come back.
He was very sweet and friendly. I was happy that I chose Dr. Khasidy.
He was insightfull, knowledgable and helpfull. Great attitude and friendly
He is my doctor from now on and he is not a bad doctor he is just very slow.
He was personable, respectful, and tried his best to diagnose my problem.
