About Dr. Hyun Soo Lee

Hyun-Soo Lee, M.D grew up in Korea and Flushing. He graduated from Yale University in 1983 and the State University of New York at Stony Brook, School of Medicine in 1990. He completed the internship in internal medicine at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 1991 and the residency in dermatology at New York University School of Medicine in 1994. He stayed at New York University for a dermatopathology fellowship until 1995. Dr. Lee is a Diplomate of American Board of Dermatology for Dermatology and American Board of Pathology for Dermatopathology. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. He was a Clinical Assistant Professor of Dermatology at New York University School of Medicine. He is a member of the Adjunct Faculty of the Rockefeller University.

My absolute favorite doctor. Great personality. Fun to chat with. And a great listener too. I’ve been going to him yearly for over a decade. Twice found and removed cancerous basil cell. I would never had known I had them without his expertise!
Easy to get to, nice staff, and felt very welcome
I have been changed my dermatology doctor 10 time , and he is the 11th one ??…. When he sow my face he told me what exactly issues facing in that moment , which is no one didn’t tell in first place. When other doctors sow me , they didn’t tell me pointless things . I waited when they will tell me cause I already knew In general what is going on , but one didn’t so, that’s why I couldn’t trust my face skin to them … I like doctor Lee , I believe he will found out how to fix me up . ??

Dr. Lee was warm and caring, sat and listened to my initial symptoms then asked about any other illnesses recently to see any relevance to the current symptoms. He displayed confidence in his practice. This office is hard to get appointments for a good reason but he is great at what he does and worth the wait.

After endless and frustrating years of coping with severe cystic acne with many internal and external prescribed and holistic treatments, I took a chance visiting Dr. Lee. During my first visit, I explained to Dr. Lee all I'd submitted to no avail. Dr. Lee detailed a specific treatment he strongly believed would target the core of my unresolved and stubborn acne problem…Voilá! Following his instructions and going to all my follow up appointments, today I am acne free! Scars are very minimal and essentially looking younger than I did in my thirties ~ I am very grateful for Dr. Lee :-)
Dr.Lee, Hyun Soo -"I highly recommend him!" All the receptionists are kind and professional as well. He is such a humble and good teacher. It's a very busy hospital, so if you make an appointment at a time when it's not busy, you can talk fully. I have been going once a month for a long time to continue receiving treatment, but the patient consistently provides good treatment according to the patient's wishes.
