I had a really positive experience with my dermatologist today. I came in feeling discouraged because the topical treatments I’ve been using for my eczema haven’t been working as well for me lately. She really listened to my concerns and didn’t dismiss how I was feeling.
What meant the most was that she was open to taking a different route with my care and recommended the next best treatment option instead of keeping me stuck on something that wasn’t helping. It felt reassuring to know she was paying attention to my progress and willing to adjust my treatment plan.
I left the appointment feeling heard, supported, and hopeful about getting my eczema under better control.
