About Dr. Raymond Khargi
Raymond Khargi, MD, is a skilled and compassionate urologist trained in all aspects of urology with a sub-specialty focus in endourology (minimally invasive surgery, complex stone disease, and benign prostatic hyperplasia).
Dr. Khargi was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. He attended St. John’s University for undergraduate studies, graduating with honors of Magna Cum Laude. Dr. Khargi obtained his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C., where he excelled as a mentor, leader, and humanitarian. He was honored and inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society. Upon graduating from medical school, he then returned to his hometown of Brooklyn to complete rigorous training in urology residency at the SUNY Downstate Health Science urology residency program. Dr. Khargi proved to be a clinical leader and continued to mentor medical students and residents. He was recognized and inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society.
His passion for urology began prior to medical school when he was a research assistant for a urology practice. The factors that drove Dr. Khargi to pursue a career in urology include the revolutionary technology advancements that are constantly being developed and his ability to offer treatments that relieve patients of their urologic ailments and improve their quality of life.
He feels fortunate to be a part of this generation of surgeons that have the opportunity to practice urology at the crossroads of technology and healthcare delivery intersect.
In his free time, Dr. Khargi enjoys home improvement projects, trying new restaurants, exploring NYC museums, and playing air hockey, billiards, or racquet sports.

The doctor that saw me was not the doctor I made the appointment for.
He was very dismissive of my symptoms and I felt I was very rushed.
He doctor insisted I was fine even though I kept telling him I was still not feeling well. He told me it was in my head.Overall the staff was very nice

The office receptionist were incredibly INSOLENT. There were 3 receptionists there, yet upon arrival, they kept saying, I must wait because they are busy, which was paperwork they could do after acknowledging my presence & arrival.
Before departure, they again kept me waiting a very long time, just to find out, there actually was nothing else to be completed with them, before departing.

I went to many other urologist and they all couldn’t help me with my problem. They all tried overcomplicated approaches, and this doctor had the simplest solution and it solved my problem. Common sense is very rare in doctors. This doctor had everything that I needed.

Arrived 15 minutes before appointment and had to wait for more than 2 hours. Got prescribed something, went to pick up, and nothing was sent to the pharmacy. Called right away and was told it would get fixed, then checked with pharmacy, and nothing still. This continued the whole week, I called and was assured they'd fix it but never did. Very dissapointed with the office experience, wouldn't recommend anyone to go.

What a amazing Doctor, very informative. He listens to everything you have to say he hears you out. Sometimes after a doctor visit you kind of don’t wanna come back because you didn’t like the vibe but this doctor I definitely want to come back to. He really made me feel at ease. Can’t wait for my follow ups. Highly recommend ??

The staff over there was very unfriendly. The office was also disorganized. First, I had waited for over an hour before I could see the physician even so I was on time. The physician looked very impatient and seemed like he was in rush to get off work. He didn’t ask me adequate questions and didn’t care about me at all during the visit. When I was asked to do both blood and urine tests, nurse was impatient and only asked for urine sample. I told her I needed to do blood test as well as told by the physician, she yelled at me and said she didn’t have the info and questioned on me before she asked the physician for confirmation. She was very reluctant to do the blood test after I insisted she asked the physician for confirmation. Overall, that practice treats patients extremely unprofessionally. The doctor didn’t respect patient as the way we respected him. If there was a better urologist, I would recommend you not to go this place.

Dr. Khargi himself was very kind, and was able to talk through the process in a way I understood and was very helpful. The facility was nice and the staff was friendly... However, the experience otherwise made me not want to ever come back. For my first visit I showed up on time and wound up waiting 2 hours in the waiting room, then another 45 minutes after being taken to a room, all for a ~20 minute visit. Then with the hopes to avoid the wait time I made my followup appointment virtual since it was just results from bloodwork. An hour after my scheduled time I call the office to check and they said he wouldn't be able to call for another 3 hours... I asked them to just send the results via email but they insisted to reschedule, so for the rescheduled appointment they didn't call at all and I didn't bother calling till a few days later. FINALLY the receptionist, Gia, helped me set up my patient portal to view my results, over 2 weeks later. If you value your time avoid this place.

it was okay....I was advised to go back to my doctor.....
however a prescription was given but due to costing asked for another......the replacement one received has been showing some side effects and I might stop taking it but only hope when I go back to my doctor I get something else that will help at least permanently and no side effects and not costly...
