Shelby brings a wealth of experience to North Shore Associates OBGYN, having previously worked as a labor & delivery nurse at top institutions including Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Boston Medical Center, and Brigham & Women’s. Inspired by her mother’s work as a nurse’s aide, Shelby pursued a career focused on the beginning of life, discovering her passion for maternity care during nursing school. She earned her Master’s in Nurse Midwifery from The George Washington University, further deepening her expertise. With a deep commitment to the holistic, low-intervention model of midwifery, Shelby provides compassionate, patient-centered care, emphasizing contraceptive options counseling and shared decision-making. She creates a safe, nonjudgmental space for women, listening to their concerns and guiding them through personalized care pathways. Outside of work, Shelby maintains an active lifestyle through hot yoga, running, and travel.
