About Dr. Alexander Maybach
I'm excited to be joining OnPoint Family Medicine in Westminster after having practiced in Arvada for nearly 20 years, caring for patients across the full spectrum, from newborns to seniors. I excel at managing complex medical conditions and am your advocate and "quarterback" when you need specialist care. As your physician, I encourage a collaborative approach, incorporating your goals and expectations to promote overall health and wellness.
I earned my Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine (AZCOM). In addition to my medical degree, I have a master's degree in physical therapy and was a former physical therapist to the U.S. Ski Team. This education and experience give me valuable insight into diagnosing orthopedic conditions and sports injuries that are common in primary care. Additionally, I have an interest in travel medicine and enjoy helping patients plan for their next international adventure with appropriate vaccine updates and health education.
Outside the office, I am very active, enjoying skiing, cycling, and the great outdoors of Colorado with my family.

Dr. Alex must have been running behind. I was eating in my room for 30 minutes. He didn’t appologize for being late. He didn’t ask me what my health goals were or if I have any other issues. Also he refuses to proscribe me my adhd medication that I have documentation of since I was a child.

The check in process was seamless. Kayla brought me to a room and gathered my past medical history. Kayla was very nice and helpful. Dr. Maybach took the time to explain certain vaccines that he said I should consider taking and wrote referrals for me.

Full disclosure, I only saw Dr. Maybach once because my PCP couldn't fit me in, so this is based on a very limited experience. But my first impression was poor and I would not recommend, primarily because he asked me a question to which I did not have a straightforward answer, and he interrupted me several times, not allowing me to complete my thought.

Maybach is fine, it's the office and staff that leave a lot to be desired. They don't follow up or post test results or update the portal they make you sign up for.
In the end, you can't work with a Doctor whose staff cannot/will not communicate.

Visiting as a new patient, Dr. Maybach was direct, no nonsense, and helped with my heath concerns. I was in and out of the office within 30 minutes with two referrals aimed to tackle them. Amber, who took me from the waiting room and took my information/ went over health history was very pleasant and easy to talk to.
