I was seen immediately with no wait time at the office. The doctor was very friendly and professional; I can tell she really cares about her patients. She took my vitals and looked inside my nose to assess the cause of my breathing issues. She prescribed me medicine and I was able to schedule an airborne allergy panel for 2 days after my initial assessment. My copay was as expected with my BCBS insurance. I would recommend this doctor!

She was amazing! She listened to me and didn’t rush me. She explained everything in detail and made sure I understood. She even gave me a written plan of care and she squeezed my son in her schedule last minute. She is so sweet, intelligent and informed. I would give her 10 stars if I could. Carla is exactly who I needed without even knowing it. She made me feel seen and heard. I didn't know if I was being dramatic and wanted to see someone that would listen to me and my fears and that is exactly what Carla did. She explained EVERYTHING to me in terms I could understand and I know all the tests she wants to run and I don't have an ounce of fear with any of it. The office is also extremely nice and every worker I interacted with was kind and patient.

For years I've suffered from frequent sinus and throat infections. It was always chalked up to allergies, and all the doctors I saw did nothing but throw allergy medication at me. I spent years trying to find a provider who would take a closer look at my health to no avail. Well, thank goodness I found Carla. She listened to me, she tested me for allergies twice, and after determining that I was not allergic to anything, she took a look at my blood and discovered that my immune system was weakened by low antibodies and low white blood cell count. She came up with a treatment plan, and after my follow-up, we discovered that it worked! My defenses are higher, and I have enough information to move forward with a specialist. She even has a Plan B treatment in case things don't work out. As a Latina Woman, I feel constantly belittled by the healthcare industry...but Carla Smith-Ricks was here to save the day. Ten stars. Highly recommended.
