She worked as a Registered Nurse (RN) for 6 years at Stony Brook University Hospital, providing high quality patient-centered care. While working as an RN, Jennifer earned her Master of Science in Nursing at Stony Brook University. After finishing school, Jennifer worked as a Nurse Practitioner in primary care. Jennifer chose to pursue a career in dermatology after finding a special interest in treating skin disorders, rashes, and acne. Jennifer enjoys educating patients about overall health and wellness.
Jennifer has completed the Dermatology Fellowship at Schweiger Dermatology Group, where she received comprehensive education and clinical training from top dermatologists in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology.

I made an appointment with Dr. Booth on ZocDoc the day before coming in. I had never met her, or gone to this office prior, it was just close to my house. I needed to get my first ever biopsy done of a growth that I found in an uncomfortable private area. I was really nervous and embarrassed, but Dr. Booth and the rest of the staff created a welcoming and comfortable environment for me. The procedure was quick and not nearly as painful as I expected. I was seen within 10 minutes of checking in and the office accepted my insurance.
I came to the Schweiger Dermatology feeling afraid and uneasy, I left feeling like a weight was lifted off of my shoulders.
Although I made the appointment with no knowledge of this group, I am very impressed with their service, and I will certainly be coming back!

Love Jennifer she is so nice & listens to your issues. She helped me get on a medication for my severe eczema after multiple attempts with other providers. She is also the best in her office, I’ve seen multiple providers there while she was out and I will not see anyone else anymore, I look forward to seeing her.

This was the best experience with a dermatologist that I've ever had. The staff was incredibly pleasant and friendly. The entire place was very bright, welcoming, and clean. I also loved that they offered little water bottles in the waiting room.

The overall experience was good, however, there was a prescription that wasn’t sent right away that the Dr wanted to be started right away. When we called the office number several hours later bc the pharmacy still didn’t have an order, we were routed to a call center instead of the doctor’s location. They needed to take a message and we had to wait almost 2 more hours for the meds. 6 hours after the appt the meds were started.
