About Dr. William Tutrone
Dr. Tutrone is a member of the American College of Mohs Surgery, a diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology, a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, a member of the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery.
After graduating from University of Vermont College of Medicine, he joined North-Shore Manhasset department of medicine to complete his internship before going to the Department of Dermatology at St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital in Manhattan for his dermatology residency. After finishing his residency, Dr. Tutrone was accepted in to the Mohs College fellowship at the University of Alabama. There he gained his expertise in Mohs surgery, dermatologic and laser surgery, and aesthetic dermatology under the instruction of Drs. Conway Huang, Marian Northington and Amy Theos.
During his residency and fellowship, he won multiple competitions and was awarded multiple scholarships to receive training under experts in Mohs and dermatologic surgery. He has also authored over 30 articles and continues to enjoy teaching medical students and residents.

Dr. Tutrone treated my four-year-old's skin condition. He handled him with a warm bedside manner and took care of him well with detailed discharge instructions. The office staff was incredibly nice and helpful and their online sign in process on the in-office iPad was surprisingly painless as well! We were so happy we chose Dr. Tutrone to treat my child. Everything went smoothly, my child's condition is heeling, and we will certainly see Dr. Tutrone for a follow up! We can't wait!

Dr. clearly explained options, cosmetic cost that is not covered by my insurance and possible outcome of procedure I was inquiring about. I told him I would think about it and get back to him. Also gave me a moisturizing prescription lotion to use for my psoriasis condition.

My appointment felt very rushed. The doctor spent less than two minutes with me, i had additional questions but as i was asking she had already started leaving the room. Additionally, she told me I was supposed to pick up 3 products from the pharmacy (I asked for a printout of the names, wasn't given one) and the pharmacy only gave me two. I tried to call the office several times during buisness hours to ask about it, but no one picked up. Skeptical if I want to spend my money on a copay here for the follow up but what choice do I have?

Clean office front desk service was on point . I did not have to fill in any paper work with paper and pen was done electronically. I left not having a diagnosis or any idea what my issue is. when I asked what possibly is the reason for my skin condition ; the Assistant said she does not know .So how I'm I suppose to know if the professional don't.

I was suppose to be prescribed medication after getting bloodwork. It’s been 2weeks and no one has called with results nor send in the prescription. Then there is not even a direct number to contact someone. Its a third party call center setup and they can only send messages. I am extremely displeased and probably wont go back. They need to follow up with there patients. Especially someone with acne issues. Very unsatisfied

I ended up seeing the PA, she seemed very knowledgeable and immediately diagnosed my condition. Everyone was friendly and professional, and it was a very quick visit.
Only 2 complaints: 1) no parking, so you need to have quarters on hand to feed the street meters; 2) I was told that my insurance would cover the prescription, but it did not.
