During the appointment, the doctor came across as arrogant.
I visited this doctor for persistent itchy bumps that have been appearing daily for about three weeks. I explained that no one else in my household has similar symptoms, especially since it is winter.
The doctor quickly diagnosed it as insect bites, not bed bugs. When I asked what to do if the bumps continue, she told me to call an exterminator. I was confused by this advice because no one else in my home has any bites.
Patients dealing with ongoing symptoms deserve careful listening and thoughtful explanations.

My appointment was scheduled for 7:50am. I was there at 7:30am and I was seen a little before 8 am in the Bayside office, however one day prior to this visit I had an appointment in the garden city office and they cancelled my appointment 10 minutes before my appointment time! I was very upset cause I was already arriving!!! The receptionist who called me was not comfortable with my angry tone! I quickly calmed down and asked to speak with someone else. How do you do that to someone without remorse or understanding from your prospective client/patient! They blamed Zoc Doc on the error! This place has become the Home Depot, Walmart, and other huge stores for dermatology! That’s fine I guess but at least customers are not turned away after they’ve driven 40 minutes!!! Thank you for reading. My hope is that they hire a standby dermatologist that takes patients in need when unexpected happens!

My daughter and I had an appointment on Sat 6/21/25 at 11:00 am. We arrived at 10:30 am. Our first visit with the office and we had the most exceptional experience. The friendliest office that I have ever been to. Once we signed all our first visit paperwork we turned to sit and were called in as soon as we sat down. The physician assistant was clear with all questions and concerns. The doctor came into the exam room and confirmed all our concerns she did her thing and explained to us with such clarity very humble and made us feel like family. We will definitely be back! We highly recommend this office for your Dermatology needs.

Not bad but not great, so I wouldn’t recommend her to my friends or family. It was my first visit ever to a dermatologist, so I don’t know if it’s standard practice to learn about the patient and their condition upon initial screening. The entire visit felt rushed from the start when a medical assistant drills you with questions in a clinical, apathetic tone. The provider had a better demeanor and tempo, but not by much. Though if you’re looking for a quick, in and out visit, this is the spot for you. I was just hoping for a more open and calm environment that is conducive to questions and concerns. This may not be the average experience with this office given the high ratings but I am here to offer my unsolicited opinion.
