Been going there for couple years; always good. Like Dr. Shu and Anthony and a few others whose names I do not recall.

I was treated at the time I made an appointment, and there was no waiting. Dr.Zhu was kind and answered all the questions I asked nicely. I recommend Dr.Zhu.

This the my 2nd visit to this Medical office(last time was in 2023). The physician I saw in 2023(Doctor Crockett) was rather 'mean',arrogant and unpleasant....(the front desk personnel is very unfriendly too..!). Which is why It took me until this year to go back(there is not much choice of Demartologist in the area..). This visit was with another physician(Dr. Zhu). Beautiful smile(like Crockett's on Zocdoc). But this Dr Doctor was just as arrogant and unfriendly!! The front desk staff was just as 'cold' as in 2023. Perhaps it is my insurance? The physician assistants are friendly and professional...If that helps?

Appointment was a breeze. I was unfortunately 10 minutes late then had to fill out paperwork but even with that I still didn’t have to wait that long. Do prepare to fill out the same paperwork though even if you submitted paperwork through ZocDoc.

I didn’t feel like my concern was addressed. My gut feeling was that I probably had an allergic reaction but once I was seen I felt like nothing was addressed. Accutane and all other drugs were the only option I had. Which thankfully I didn’t listen to. 5 days later without any of his suggestions, my skin irritation went away on its own. Glad I didn’t take the drug route.

Reading the other reviews of Dr. Henry Zhu, MD made me nervous, because I already don't like going to the doctor, and the prospect of a 3/5 bedside manner was a source of anxiety. Especially because I had to undress.
But upon entering the room, he greeted me, we talked about the problem, he recommended very helpful solutions, and listened to me when I gave a preference against something and didn't force it on me, and was overall very respectful of my privacy.
This man is a gentleman and a good doctor, I don't know what everyone else is talking about. He just isn't jovial and overly palsy-walsy, he was truthful and to-the-point, which I kind of prefer in a doctor anyway.

Zhu has poor bedside manner. Not exactly rude, just not good at conversation. Did not check my scalp or buttocks during full-body check. Very friendly and warm office staff and nurse - exceptional. Spotless office with easy parking. Zhu is only in office 1 day a week. I don’t get the feeling he’s invested like my other doctors are that are local. It’s simply this kind of business model and I’m not ok seeing a nurse practitioner with my skin history. I authorized my file transfer but now I’m second guessing.
