About Alexis Devens
Alexis was born and raised in Hawaii and moved to Oregon to pursue and successfully attain a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Physiology from the University of Oregon. She then moved to New York where she attended Columbia University. During her time at Columbia University, she obtained a Master's degree in Nursing, Doctorate degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner, and was inducted into the prestigious Sigma Tau Theta Honor Society. With her love for dermatology, Alexis went on to complete the rigorous Schweiger Dermatology Group APP Fellowship program and gained firsthand experience in medical and cosmetic dermatology.
Prior to joining our practice, Alexis worked in the Pediatric ICU at NYP Weill Cornell for several years. During the height of the COVID-19 pandemic her unit was converted to an adult ICU. As a front-line nurse, she was still able to practice what she loves while making a difference in the lives of her patients during a time of uncertainty.
Alexis is ANCC board certified through American Nurse Association. She is dedicated to providing high quality patient-centered care and continues to share the aloha spirit through her professional endeavors.

To be completely honest, I was very disappointed with this visit. I explained to the assistant that I hadn't seen a dermatologist in over 10 years, ever since I had a mole removed for analysis (which fortunately had positive results), and that I was also experiencing constant itching on my arms. The appointment lasted no more than six minutes. Regarding the itching, the doctor simply told me, “Don't worry, use this cream.”
However, shouldn't a visit like this also includes a check of my moles? When I mentioned this to my doctor, she told me I would need to schedule another appointment with a different dermatologist.

If there's any issues that require a dermatologist this is the place to go. I was seen right away and my appointment was not until 8:30 I arrived early to fill out paperwork it was quick and easy maybe a 5 minute wait was seen issue was addressed. I was told about everything that was being done the issue was explained to me thoroughly. I was told about what was going to be done every step of the way. I was given every courtesy a patient should receive very friendly very explanatory before and after. Would i return absolutely and would recommend to all that need something done in this field.

My visit went well. I walked in and was warmly greeted. In less than 10 mins I was seen. The rooms are bare minimum, but clean and efficient. The nurse practitioner and assistant were friendly and helpful.

I had a wonderful experience today ..it truly means everything when your not feeling well. My provider was highly qualified and listened to all my history and concerns... and was not quick to over medicate me due to my situation. Also being able to communicate with the office after I had left was very easy via texting. I much appreciated that.
