Patient reviews for Dr. Alvin Adler
Best dermatologist I have ever been to. I will be using him going forward and recommend.
As usual Dr. Adler helped me tremendously courteous and respectful. Thank you
I genuinely enjoyed my visit. I was there for an annual skin exam and mole removal. The office was clean and bright, receptionist was very professional and friendly comparing to my visits to other offices so it really exceeded my expectation. Doctor Alvin Adler was also very nice and professional.
Extremely friendly and helpful. Addressed my needs right away and scheduled a follow up. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a dermatologist.
Very friendly and efficient, answered questions clearly. Looking forward to utilizing as my new dermatologist going forward.
Long wait (50 minutes) for a check up that only took 1-2 minutes.
Dr. Alvin Adler was a complete professional. He made me feel comfortable right away, knew exactly what my condition was, and provided a solution immediately. I left the office with a positive feeling and would recommend Dr. Alvin to anyone!
He was smart, understanding and extremely helpful!!
Very honest doctor.
He was professional sweet caring and fast. Will definitely return!
Only one visit in, but my first impression was underwhelming in terms of wait time and bedside manner. That being said the location is convenient and service was satisfactory, so I will be back. If the treatment works then i will be happy enough.
He was extremely professional and knowledgeable.
Being a dermatologist- he wasn’t even able to drain my cyst nor remove it. In fact he referred me to ANOTHER DERMOTOLOIST, to do his job! What a joke and a waste of copay. Oh and by the way, he talked more about going on vacation than taking care of my cyst.
Excellent doctor visit. Great, friendly staff, short wait time, quick yet thorough examination and recommendation (prescription).
Probably shouldn't bring in assistants for the examination.
Very good doctor and thorough, called me to follow up
They confirmed the appt with my insurance - but then called and said they did not take it.
Very professional and knowledgeable in his field .
I have been a patient of Dr. Adler's for many years and he is excellent.
Great doctor. No wait and awesome location
Excellent diagnosis with prompt treatment
Showed up early for my 2:00pm appointment. Asked the receptionist around 2:15 when I would he seen, to which I got a rude and dismissive response. Finally was seen by the NP after 30 mins of waiting, while she was very nice, I found Dr. Adler to have ZERO bed side manner. It was like I was a car he was inspecting and nothing more. He shoved his iPad in my face and took a picture of my skin. Then asked me AFTER he decided to do some procedure on my face if it was okay with me. Will not return.
Dr Adler is amazing. He is smart and thoughtful. He seems like a real expert in his field. The office is great too.
attentive and addressed my concerns right away
Took his time to explain me everything.
Not very thorough.
Very friendly and professional. Hardly waited. Highly recommended!
Thorough, friendly with clear advice.
Excellent. No wait. Prescription filed right away. I have been Dr. Adler's patient for twenty years. Great eye. Affable. Generous with explanations.
He's not nice and cuts you off when you're trying to explain your issue to him. He would discount some of the details I would share with him. I won't be returning to him.
Dr Adler was very thorough and answered all my questions, also came out after I had finished with reception to answer a quick follow up question.
This is the worst dermatologist, and possibly the worst doctor, I have ever visited. Complete waste of time.
I'm not happy at all with this or any doctors in the Schweiger Dermatology Group. They try to upsell clients to in house products, Johnson & Johnson's products and their own pharmacy. This opinion is based off of many people I interacted with while waiting for long periods in the office. After my 3 interactions with Dr. Adler I could say some mean things about his demeanor but the only thing I will say is I never had a doctor say they didn't have the time to deal with you after only five minutes of his time and I waited long periods of time for him.
Excellent, kind and completely professional.
Very capable, knowledgeable and pleasant.
He was very thorough and informative. Made me feel very comfortable and gave good skin advice. Did not push any products on me, but, when prompted, offered other services. Also, and most importantly, he didn't make me come back a second time to remove a mole. He did it on the first appointment- even though he could have easily made me come back so he could charge my insurance twice!
Dr. Adler is so professional, answers all my questions and put my mind at ease. I have been going to him for 2 yrs and love the new office too.................
I'm sorry to say but the doctor was very rushed. It was the first time that I had seen him and his manor was very rushed and made me feel like I was bothering him with my questions. I asked about a underlying lump that looked white and was hard and told me he couldn't see it. My daughter saw it in the dark. Also inquired about my terrible breaking nails and was just ignored. He ran off some latin names to assistant and creams he prescribed. Never really explained what I had. really not happy at all. The only positives were the staff was very nice and there was practically no wait time.
Never had a doctor say they didn't have time to address an issue. Spent less then 5 minutes with doctor. Then nurse talked into using there pharmacy delivery service which doesn't participate with my insurance. Waste of time
I was disappointed, I've been struggling with acne in one spot of my face for the past 6 months after having clear skin my whole life. He breezed in, told me I have "adult acne" and left. I was charged for "acne surgery" that I most certainly didn't receive. And here I am trying to find another derm to actually help me.
Dr. Adler is an excellent physician and very professional. The office staff are extremely pleasant, courteous and helpful.
Nothing was wrong with the doctor but the assistant Anita is one of the rudest people I've ever encountered. She insulted me, made me lookup a pharmacy for her. She couldn't believe I had my own insurance and kept questioning me about it, she had me then sit-down but wasn't done and was even rude to the nurse when she asked her multiple times if she could take me back. Please fire Anita and I will go back.
A fine, caring physician who gave me the time to say what I wanted to say and actually listened. I've been seeing him for years.
The doctor was qualified, however a 12pm appointment left me waiting for more than an hour before I was seen.
The longest part was waiting in the waiting room and in the patient room, but he was great and very nice.
As usual very satisfying.
Knowledgable and quick with a kind manner. I am happy to have found such a great Dermatologist.
After my follow up appointment two weeks from now, I do not intend to come back to this office. Wait times in the lobby are long, and then you wait more in the exam room. When the doctor arrives, he is very impersonal, and dictates medical terminology to his assistant without explaining anything to you. This was my second visit and I have left both times feeling like the doctors only care about the insurance payouts.
