Dr. Mikailov is dual-boarded in both Internal Medicine and Dermatology after completing the combined Medicine-Dermatology Residency program at Massachusetts General Hospital-Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard Combined Program. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from Temple University and completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Maryland. Recognized as a leader in consultative hospital dermatology, he has published extensively and presented internationally.

I am leaving my review because I am very satisfied with my visit. When I step through the door, I am immediately struck by the extremely cozy atmosphere, wonderful interior and cleanliness. The staff is friendly and kind. But for me, mutual understanding and communication and the professionalism of the doctor are also very important. I strongly recommend Dr. Mikailov. He is kind and easy to talk to. So was his PA Chelsea. They both took their time talking to me and listening to my issues. I felt they both really cared about helping me. Skin conditions can be embarrassing but the entire staff made me feel comfortable.

It was my first visit. The provider was nice, but seemed to be in a rush. He didn’t spend enough time understanding my situation to recommend a regimen for my issue. That was any different than my last dermatologist. I guess every provider has to do the same thing on the first visit, but I can recommend something.. have my second visit in July. Hopefully you’ll have more to offer and we’ll be able to spend more than three minutes helping me figure out how to get relief.

Doctor Mikailov greeted me and was very friendly. He got some info from me and began his examination. He exp!aimed everything thoroughly and removed a suspicion looking mole. He said he would contact me in 10 days or so with the results. I made an appointment for a future date.

I had a mole removed which, practically falling off on its own so Dr Mikailov suggested his PA use liquid nitrogen to freeze it. It was straightforward, painless and I had a nice chat with them both, but also found out the PA is from the finger lakes, as am I. As medical appointments go, it was fun. Thanks to everyone involved.

This practice should be the golden rule of treatment in medical facilities. Check in was seamless. I headed to the lower level where I was greeted by a nurse and immediately brought in to a treatment room where she did my intake. I was met with the nurse and Dr Mikailov within minutes after that! The doctor listened to my concern, checked the area in question and after immediately determining it was no worry, he was able to identify a suspicious mole only a couple of inches away! I was offered immediate treatment or to return but I opted to just get it done! The whole process was over quickly and I was treated so well! Dr Mikailov has a great bedside manner and is informative, personable and professional. Thank you for a great experience!
