Brittany Andersen, PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant specializing in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology at Schweiger Dermatology Group in East Hampton, New York. Brittany earned her Bachelor of Arts in Biological Sciences from Binghamton University and went on to achieve her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Long Island University Brooklyn.
Brittany has extensive training in the specialized fields of vascular surgery and wound care, which significantly piqued her interest in dermatology.
To further enhance her capabilities, she completed the Advanced Practice Provider fellowship program at Schweiger Dermatology Group. This program involved intensive academic and clinical training, providing Brittany with valuable experience in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology.
As a native of the East End of Long Island, Brittany is dedicated to providing comprehensive high-quality dermatologic care to the patients in her community.

The provider was dismissive and condescending. She rushed through the appointment, was a poor listener and did not even examine my area of concern/reason for my appointment. Although a follow-up appointment was recommended and scheduled, I will be cancelling as I have no intention of being seen by this person ever again.

I just found her to be slightly offensive. She was laughing at my questions which I didn’t find funny at all. Her approach on my treatment is very different than other dermatologist. You come in for more visits than you need to when she could be providing some of that care beforehand.

3 days after being diagnosed with and treated for scabies by urgent care I booked a dermatologist appointment for help understanding and healing the sores I had suffered for months. She prescribed creams, did a biopsy and told me to return in 2 weeks.
I returned one week later improved, but still very bothered by the rash. PA Brittany Andersen told me that it was nothing, and then proceeded to scold me for coming in before the biopsy was back. She told me repeatedly that I needed a psychiatrist, not a dermatologist. She said that my symptoms were from taking adhd medicines, which she told me to stop. I was completely shocked by her smugness, lack of professionalism, and absence of bedside manner.
I cancelled my follow up appointment and took my stitches out with the help of family. She did not respond to my prescription refill request. Awful experience.
